The Brotherhood of the Ring quartet is in search of the elusive ‘ring’ that happens when a chord is tuned to perfection.
These four men have formed a brotherhood in harmony in pursuit of this quest!
Quartet members include:
Tenor, Wade Pengilly recently transplanted to Oregon from North
Dakota where he sang tenor in a quartet called “Hog Wild”. He
serves as tenor section leader for the Cascade Chorus.
Lead, Jim Kirschner recently transplanted to Oregon from New
Hampshire via Santa Barbara, California. He serves as assistant
director and music vice president for the Cascade Chorus.
Baritone, Coby Foster has lived in Oregon most of his life. He has
sung in numerous quartets usually as tenor or lead, but since neither
Wade or Jim would give us their parts, Coby had no choice but to
sing baritone. He serves as director of the Cascade Chorus.
Bass, Loren Corner is “shared” with his other quartet “4 C-Sons”. He is the only native Oregonian in the quartet, graduating from North Eugene High School. He is the oldest member of this young “seniors” quartet and serves as the assistant bass section leader of the Cascade Chorus.
