Help us help others with food insecurity in our community.

Cascade Chorus is excited to partner with Food for Lane County once again to offer a free concert to our community!  This concert doubles as a food drive for the local food bank, and we kindly ask for three items of non-perishable food as your entry fee. Previously, thanks to your generosity, we collected over 1,000 pounds of food, providing over 700 meals for residents of Lane County.

We have some special guests this year, Soli Deo Gloria, an 18-member, auditioned portion of the Westside Christian High School Concert Choir from a 3A (private high school located in Tigard, OR, with a population of 285 students. The Concert Choir has won the Oregon State Activities Association 3A Choir State Championship the past sixteen out of seventeen years. Soli is also an award-winning jazz, pop, barbershop and chamber music ensemble, having captured numerous jazz festival championships and chamber music awards over the past fifteen years. In the 2024-2025 school year alone, Soli captured the Oregon State Contemporary Ensemble Championship, The Barbershop Harmony Society’s Plateau A Championship in San Antonio, TX at the society’s Midwinter Convention, the People’s Choice Award (most popular) at the Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Contest in downtown Portland, and first place at the Clackamas Community College Vocal Jazz Festival.
