Autzen Food Booth

The Chorus manned a food booth for the Paris St. Germain/Inter Milan soccer match held July 25, at Autzen Stadium. While some of Europe’s best provided the first pro soccer match at Autzen, over twenty-five Chorus members, wives and significant others were serving up such delicacies as Oregon sausage rolls, nachos, Pepsi, hot dogs and the best pretzels west of the Mississippi. It was a fun effort for all concerned. Thanks to Dale LaFon for lining this up. We are also going to be running a food booth at the Duck home games this season.

Oregon Music Education Association conference

We had a booth at the OMEA conference on January 15th & 16th. We talked with folks from all across the state who jumped at the opportunity to get some materials to help them work with their choral groups. We let many people know that Barbershop is alive and well in Oregon. Both teachers and students spent time with us. Interest was shown in the possibility of attending one of the Society’s workshops as well as Harmony Explosion.
